As the under 10’s turned up to Rotherham 12 washing machines took a collective sigh of relief as the conditions were excellent and the pitch in great condition!

Dronfield made a superb start with some excellent defending backed up by the team making the most of the good conditions showing off their attacking skills.

Rotherham could not handle the speed and pace of the defensive line, the team did excellent closing the gap and making tackles early pushing them back.

A theme of the game was the team ripping the ball in the tackle making multiple turnovers and putting the Dron on the front foot.

Once again a mix of try scorers, top of the list was Eddie scoring 4 even after pulling an all nighter on a cubs sleepover!

3 very proud coaches at the end of the day! The team keep growing and developing week in week out - taking on board everything we are trying to put across to them, standing up for each other and playing as a team!

Jemima - a fantastic performance all round by Jemima! Back to her barnstorming best - tough tackling and hard running at the fore. Very well deserved!

Special mention also to Teddy! Excellent performance in his very first game, out on the wing Teddy got his hands on the ball and made some good runs down the line almost scoring a debut try.
